GENERAL INFORMATION
The Summer Session 2008 at Rutgers the State University of New Jersey at Camden is pleased to announce a large and comprehensive series of undergraduate and graduate courses scheduled for this summer at the Camden Campus. Often our visiting students come to take a quick course, but soon discover the newly renovated and enlarged New Jersey State Aquarium, Tweeter Centre concerts, the Riversharks' professional baseball park, and even the Battleship New Jersey! The lively campus provides Summer Session 2008 participants with the needed academic framework to present a timely and provocative schedule with something for everyone during the summer months.
Visiting students are welcome to share with our continuing students’ lectures and laboratory experiences, all of which are nationally and regionally accredited. Highly recognized academically, regional professional educators are invited to enroll in undergraduate and graduate courses to improve their academic subject proficiencies and professional orientation. Workshops, conferences and special events abound.
For Summer Session 2008, the catalog includes descriptive materials from several distinguished schools of Rutgers the State University of New Jersey. Planned for both full and part-time study, the Schools of Law, Arts and Sciences, Business, Social Work, Nursing, and Education provide students with a wide array of course opportunities second to none in the region. Day and evening courses are available for graduate and undergraduate study on a full-time and part-time basis.
We invite you to join us in our continuing summer celebration of educational excellence on the Rutgers Camden Campus. Concerts, writers’ workshops, Center for the Arts programs, and lunchtime recitals are all a part of the Summer Session 2008 experience. See you this summer at Rutgers-Camden!
